Why did the Post publish the poll? Don’t they usually bury these things?
Does the new DC stadium have anything to do with it?
Maybe some crony capitalists/politicians who stand to gain from the new stadium gave them the go ahead?
I’ve heard the talk is, that if the Redskins were to go to a new stadium in the District of Columbia, that among the conditions would be abandoning the Redskins name.
So then Dan Snyder, team owner, could vote with his feet and put the new stadium in another jurisdiction. Sounds like a lose/lose situation for DC. All to make a half assed political statement.
