I have seen/read nothing yet that Stevens was stopping anything... I think the weapons depot got hijacked and Stevens was a casualty in the hijacking... IIRC the ambassador from Turkey had just left a meeting with Stevens when the hijacking took place... I think the reason why NO help was sent was because help would have lit up the whole region... Benghazi by the sea was weapons depot for Obama and lord McCains rebels.. passing out Muammar al-Gaddafi weapons . But someone else hijacked the weapons...
More likely, Obama, Hillary, McCain, Graham, et al, were selling the weapons to the terrorists, shipping through Turkey to Syria, and the terrorists just decided they didn't want to pay for them anymore.
Arms trafficking to enemy combatants is a death penalty offense.
