WEST POINT, N.Y. (AP) -- Vice President Joe Biden told the U.S. Military Academy's class of 2016 on Saturday that greater diversity, including more women and openly gay soldiers, will strengthen the country's armed forces.
"Having men and women together in the battlefield is an incredible asset, particularly when they're asked to lead teams in parts of the world with fundamentally different expectations and norms," Biden said in his speech at a graduation ceremony at Michie Stadium on the West Point grounds along the Hudson River.

We are living in the age of the Official Lie. A leader of some type gets up and spouts off outrageous lies with the full authority of his position, and because of his position, it is supposed to be the final word, and has to be accepted as such.
Note the expression of impression and disdain on their face when they spout off. It is an expression of impatience that there are certain ones who, knowing they are wrong to refuse to accept the new revelation, still refuse to accept the new truth. If anyone does point out the lie, he is relegated to the level of an extremist, racist, bigot, etc.

huh... My limited military leadership experience leads me to believe an effective military force depends on moral, training, food, and weapons. Moral being number one. Not how many homos, queers, lesbians, transwhatevers get AA promotions to top brass positions.
