WEST POINT, N.Y. (AP) -- Vice President Joe Biden told the U.S. Military Academy's class of 2016 on Saturday that greater diversity, including more women and openly gay soldiers, will strengthen the country's armed forces.
"Having men and women together in the battlefield is an incredible asset, particularly when they're asked to lead teams in parts of the world with fundamentally different expectations and norms," Biden said in his speech at a graduation ceremony at Michie Stadium on the West Point grounds along the Hudson River.

Good old Uncle Joe has wandered into a fever swamp, and is now afflicted with half a dozen tropical infections simultaneously, any one of which induces hallucinations and some strange effects on any kind of critical thinking. Not that Joe was ever free from similar delusional thinking from an early age (he still has this grandiose idea that he could be Presididn’t), but the loopy expressions of a wandering mind have simply become more prevalent of late.
Joe has suffered a pretty serious departure from any viable contention in anything.
