Starving/dehydrating “useless eaters” is legal in all 57 states. Families make this “difficult decision” every day. The media only call it a difficult decision when the decision goes against the patient. They never say the family was faced with a difficult choice if the family decides to continue caring for the patient. And of course, the “difficult decision” is praiseworthy, while not “allowing” the patient to die is foolhardy and cruel.

One of the things I found strange, was that when Obama announced he was going to visit her, she wasn’t feeling very well. Over the course of a couple days, she went from not feeling well, to having fallen due to osteoporosis, to having a broken bone (hip?) from the fall. When she died ten days later, the cause was pneumonia. By the time he dumped her ashes, she had died from cancer.

Agree with you—a very bizarre progression. It’s as if there is not one thing normal about Obama. His records are either hidden or suspect; much of what he says is demonstrably false, and rarely do his actions match his words. [For example, he claims his administration has been the most pro-Israel ever, but his actions say the opposite.]

Even Obama’s grandmother’s death is weird. Convenient, though, that the swarm of biographers that descended on HI after Obama’s election were unable to interview her. Like the detective in A Shock to the System said to the Caine character, “Death hasn’t been all that bad for you, has it?” (Referring to the several deaths that happened in Caine’s immediate circle.)

She was days away from dying when he visited her? Guess he didn’t care for her, either. Sounds like the no-empathy reaction. When did she break her hip?
