Trump has already said publicly that he is not going to touch any entitlements. He is ok with big government. So, as long as he builds the wall anything after that is gravy for me.
This isn't an entitlement. The IRS has already stated they will not go after these felons for claiming eitc. All Trump has to do is declare it so. Do it or get 'fired'.
Where did you hear him say that he didn’t want to touch “any” entitlements? I only remember him saying Social Security and Medicare (and a few years ago in one of his books he also included Medicaid with those two).
One thing that I like about his immigration policy paper on his website is the bit about legal immigrants being required to certify that they will not need welfare because they can pay for their own housing, healthcare, etc. before they are allowed into the country. It would be nice if we quit importing people to live off the U.S. taxpayer. I just hope they force people to stick to their “certifications.” It’s a good step in the right direction at any rate.
