When I was a kid, I was a guinea pig subject for those learning to give IQ tests. There are so many ways to game them. Those administering them can do one thing wrong and it will result in many points off. Even giving a right handed test to a left handed person can throw it off. They’re also designed for a specific group of people and aren’t (or weren’t in my time) “diverse” enough for every walk of life or background. If a test that’s designed for upper middle class white suburban people is given to someone six months out of Ethiopia, well, duuuh, they’re going to test very low. An IQ test is nothing but a very poor tool and not one that should be used in a courtroom, imo.
