I would clarify that by “personal relationship” I meant to say “romantic relationship.” I know guys who are great fun to be around in a group of guys, who will go out of their way to “help a brother out,” and yet I just shake my head at the way they view women.
When a woman calls you on the phone, you can always safely answer “what do you need/want from me today?”.
They never, and I mean never, call to see how you are, or to tell you something they thought you might find cool of helpful.
