>I had not heard of MGTOW and went to check it out - only to get this message:
They’re basically voluntary eunuchs. Awful movement but rooted in the very bad deal that is modern marriage for men.
Perhaps celibate might be a bit more accurate than eunuch.
As I recall, the Apostle Paul didn’t seem to have a problem with such an outlook on life by men if they could handle it, otherwise they should marry.
But at that time the legal system wasn’t as slanted as it is today.
It depends on who is defining the term. Some are voluntary eunuchs. Others are just men who have decided that women are not worth getting emotionally or financially involved with, but still have sex with women.
I disagree. I too plan on never getting married again. Been too thoroughly fsked over by divorce and Family Court to ever want to go through it again.
Now, I live in a little college town. Lots of interesting girls to talk to, especially when their mothers come in to town to visit now and again. I go where I want when I want, do laundry as the need arises, date when and where I decide to and work on whatever project / hobby I find of most interest without being constantly demanded that I "find something more constructive to do" with the time I have.
Why would I want to surrender half of all incomes and bank accounts plus the majority of anything I own by getting married again. MGTOW is an excellent concept.
