I remember a report of a metal object being found near where Trayvon attacked George Zimmerman, something that could be used in breaking into a house...I don't know if it was ever tested for fingerprints but if it had been it might have shown that George's hunch was correct.

A number of incidents happened as a consequence of the media firestorm over this case, where black people attacked whites to show their anger...did any of those attacks result in someone being killed?

I believe he was found to be in possession of burglary tools, or of items stolen from another student's locker, at his high school.

The media saw the name Zimmerman and assumed he was a typical white man...may have thought he was Jewish because Bob Dylan's real name is Zimmerman. They wanted to believe that he was an evil white Southern man going after an innocent black teenager because they want to believe that the South is full of white racists, so they shaped the news to fit their narrative.

Agreed. I heard the local news reporter last night make the statement — “Zimmerman was trying to sell the gun that he used to kill Travon Martin with.”

Not a mention of if being used in self defense or that Z was getting the crap beat out of him.
