Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has been accused of "manhandling" a Conservative MP as the House of Commons debated an assisted-dying bill.
Video shows Mr. Trudeau walking into a crowd and taking Opposition Whip Gord Brown by his arm in an apparent attempt to steer him to his seat.
New Democratic Party MP Ruth Ellen-Brousseau said she was "elbowed in the chest" in the ensuing scuffle.
Mr. Trudeau later apologized to Ms. Brousseau of Quebec "unreservedly".
Liberal Party leader Mr. Trudeau also had a heated verbal exchange with New Democratic Party leader Tom Mulcair.
"What kind of man elbows a woman? It's pathetic! You're pathetic!" Mr. Mulcair shouted at Mr. Trudeau in the incident caught on video.
The CBC reported that Mr. Trudeau lost his temper and shouted an expletive.
The incident is considered a rare misstep for the young prime minister who is popular at home and abroad.
"I have never seen a display of bully behavior by a Canadian politician let alone a prime minister as I witnessed just now in the chamber," said David Sweet, a Conservative MP from Ontario.......

He lost his cool over opposition to Pro-Death legislation ("Assisted Suicide") when a conservative whip's speech wasn't going fast enough for him.
His father (Pierre Trudeau) had a provocative angry side that he was much more willing to show in public back in the 1970's when the world wasn't as 'sissy' as it is today.
If Justin Trudeau had just pushed around a Conservative MP things wouldn't have been so bad, but a leftist NDP female MP ended up getting elbowed causing a brouhaha.
My bottom line on this is that like his dad, this Trudeau was pushing a bad idea with arrogance. The idea, to kill off the sick and the old.

Will the Left call for his arrest for assault?
I didn’t think so.
The media did its best to try to cover up & excuse Trudeau’s behavior just like the time he exploded in front of reporters several years back when he was first elected to his seat / electoral district. The GP leader May was equally disgraceful when she lied when she asserted that Trudeau “did not see Brosseau” when in fact he would have seen her clearly as he had to take a long walk to the area in question when he grabbed Brown! Furthermore [ & why is no one mentioning this! ] even if it were somehow true that he did not see Brosseau after the long walk [which is highly unlikely as nothing was obstructing his view of the corridor]... HE WOULD HAVE CERTAINLY HAVE FELT HER AFTER HE HIT HER WIT HIS ELBOW! Further: numerous witnesses said that Trudeau WAS VISIBLY ANGRY & that they could see anger in his eyes & face! NDP leader Tom Mulcair was shouting at Trudeau so intensely that a fight almost broke out between him & Trudeau! Prompting members of Trudeau’s caucus to jump out of their seats & join the kerfuffle like something out of a hockey game match. Mulcair was clearly heard shouting “what kind of man elbows a woman! It’s pathetic! You are pathetic!” Good on Mulcair for standing up this bully Trudeau who hilariously refers to himself as a “feminist”, yet now had the dishonorable distinction of having hit a female Parliamentarian in an open session of Parliament. All while shouting I kid you not “get the f-— out of the way!” while doing it too. What a total disgrace this angry loose canon Trudeau is. If former Prime Minister Stephen Harper [ of the Conservative Party ] had done this - or even anything close to this... the media would have demanded that he resign.
>>>Will the Left call for his arrest for assault?<<<
Only if they find out he is Trump’s Campaign Manager.
Not surprising. Every liberal is a thug.
The media brings up the Conservative male MP but consider what Trudeau did to the NDP female MP.
The Prime Minister jabbed her where her breasts are....
She was so taken aback she left the floor in shock and when the leader of her party confronted Trudeau he F bombed Tom Mulcair and his cabinet came out from their desks like a sports team clearing the bench for a brawl.
Maybe the headline of this story from the media should be....
“PM Jabs MP’s Tatas”
He’s a leftist that’s all I know. Loves globalism.
Gawd what a dweeb.
Dustbin Turdo is a complete douchebag.
I’m not surprised to hear about this. It’s been long known up here that he often gets very temperamental and petulant and rude to people when things do not go his way. I find that the less attention I pay to him, the much better.
Assisted suicide Justin? Teach from example. You go first and maybe the rest will follow you.
Too bad he is not still looking for his teeth.
Typical liberal behavior. As long as they get what they want and when they want it all is fine. As soon as they are questioned and their goals are thwarted...watch out!
They believe the media will always cove for them so they are free to do as they please.
The tabloid headlines for this could read:
“Justin Goes Bieber”
“Justin Gets Boobie Prize”
and the list goes on.
The first rule of parliament is that you don't leave your seat. It is parliament, a place to talk. Even his father didn't resort to these bully boy tactics. The sooner we are rid of this guy and his band of thugs, the better.
He clearly elbowed her on purpose while standing still. Perhaps after she said something to him. Nasty.
dictators don’t like no to their actions....
Yes, liberals/progressives are thugs. Verbally always, and physically when they think they can get away with it, or when lose their tolerant, diverse, inclusive, multicultural patience.
In the video, the lib goons were actively blocking the conservative’s path, obviously blocking his attempts to get through.
And on a recent visit, I sensed many Canucks love their PM and don’t mind ever more socialism. And they despise Trump.
When Trump is in, I hope he casts a cautious eye upon Canada also.
