Michelle Lodzinski guilty of murdering son Timmy Wiltsey

Almost a quarter century after five-year-old Timothy Wiltsey mysteriously disappeared, his mother was found guilty of his murder today in a dramatic end to one of New Jersey's most notorious cold cases.

A jury of seven men and five women convicted Michelle Lodzinski, 48, after eight weeks of testimony before Middlesex County Superior Court Judge Dennis Nieves in New Brunswick. They deliberated just four hours after the foreman was replaced Tuesday with an alternate because of an undisclosed "personal matter."

Good to hear Justice happening.

kind of amazing to think the telling blanket was there all along.

I wonder what else made it finally possible to charge and try her?

scary to think she just went on with life. feel bad for her other sons .

I remember this event. I grew up off exit 117. I remember reading about in the Ausbury Park.

Wow, I wonder how the prosecution placed the planet exclusively with the murdering mother.

I wonder if the boyfriend at the time of the murdering mother is the father of the two young teens cited in the article.

I think I remember the boyfriend was a hard target at one time during the investigation.

I think I also recall reading in the paper at the time that they try to pin it on a Carnival worker or something.
