“I was nice, and didnt tell the VA nurse interviewer it was none of his business. I just said NO!”
Good advice to all. Never act the least bit disturbed. And I do, almost without exception, get asked how “I’m feeling mentally.” That, it appears is now SOP. and a wrong answer here in CA could get the state dropping by to pick up your guns.
If he asks, tell him in no uncertain terms to f*** off.
Then get another doctor.
I agree on principle. But, my doc like to talk about boats...............
“My answer to that race question is always MUTT.”
That’s like saying YES when asked about your sex!
“I agree on principle. But, my doc like to talk about boats...............”
Yeah, that’s o.k! An orthopaedist I see on occasion runs some of the track days that I do, so we sometimes talk about one of the tracks we both frequent and our best lap times!.
So, why do you feverishly defend California from those that attack and insult it?
Lie.
If you’re honest and you tell them you have a few drinks a week they will say you’re a heavy drinker.
The less information they have to distort, the better.
Make them stick to the subject of your physical health.
“Should Your Doctor Ask If You Own Guns?”
Sure - if he was thinking of buying some from me.
“So, why do you feverishly defend California from those that attack and insult it?”
Because it’s been my home for neary 76 years and I still have hope that a correction will take place. And that outside our major coastal cities, live millions of decent folks who don’t have a voice any longer thanks to One Man One Vote! Besides, nothing is changed by attacks and insults, and you can bet that wherever it is that you hang your hat, has at least the seeds of what has happened here. Texans puff up their chests about how “free” they are, but they don’t look at the creeping socialism that exists there. Take a look at a Texas map and you will see that already there are two tiers of counties moving upward from the Mexican border that are solid RAT. And then there are their big $hithole cities like Dallas, San Antonio, QueerHouston, and Austin. My answer to those folks is, “you’re next and you won’t be able to stop it either!”
“Should Your Doctor Ask If You Own Guns?”
Absolutely. Right along with asking me if I own any chainsaws, throwing knives, step ladders, table saws, rat poison, illegal drugs, poisonous snakes, car jacks, blow torches and mentally unstable ex-wives.
And after all of that, we could talk about this big lump on my stomach that’s been doubling in size every month now, and why I’m barely able to breath and have chest pains every time I go for a walk, and, uh, what’s that doc, we’re out of time now?
That's a twinkie, for sure. Lots of NAZIs were twinkies.
Lots of twinkies here in the USA are NAZIs.
“Do you ask your doctor if hes touched HIV+ patients in the last 48 hours? Does he have sex with men? Did he vote democrat in the last election? Oh... Are those questions private and personal and none of your business even thought theyre directly related to your health and the quality of care youre receiving?”
If you really want to get his goat, ask him what’s the maximum payout on his liability insurance and how many times has his insurance company had to pay out on him. How many complaints has he had filed against him with the State licensing board?
When they ask about sex; I just go into my wetback mode and tell them “Si, Mucho”, that usually shuts them up because they can’t come up with an appropriate response.
If my doctor asks me about guns, I’m gonna ask him if his teenage daughter is a virgin.
Why do you ask this asinine question? Those of us in California will battle the progs to the end. We will not give up our values, our home and our right to defend all of the above!
“No, I do not have guns in the home. What does that have to do with my Strep infection?”
I will happily lie with a straight face when asked any inappropriate question.
Und Herr Kommissar Doktor ticks "yes" on zhe form. And now the USG (aka the Obama Regime) has something on you!
The correct answer is "no", unless you have a trusting relationship with your doc, in which case the question won't come up at all, or only as the subject of laughs and discussions of who to support in the primary.
“Sneak in to my house at 3am and find out.”
