A groom in Saudi Arabia filed for divorce minutes after his wedding when his bride refused to put down her cell phone and pay attention to him, local media reported Tuesday.
The couple retired to a hotel room following the ceremony, where a relative said the unnamed woman rebuffed the mans intimate advances. The bride said she wanted to respond to her friends texts and other messages congratulating them on their wedding, according to Gulf News.
The groom asked her to delay the messages, but she refused and became angry, the relative added. When he asked her if her friends were more important than he was, the bride answered that they were.

How about what the bible says that God wants?

"...Youre right, she should text through the honeymoon and tell the groom her friends come first. You are showing your ignorance..."
Overbearing, self-important, abusive, crybaby MUSLIM MEN do not get my support. Sorry.

Please refresh my faded memory of long-ago church lessons...
What is it that God wants from newly-married Muslim couples?

Normal there is:
1) an arranged marriage - which means she didn’t agree to marry him, but was forced to by her parents.
2) given this is Saudi Arabia - she likely had “surgery” as a child - so why would she be interested in the consummation of the “marriage” anyway
I agree with the mooselimb chick.

Saving it for marriage is one thing; saving it for a widespread service outage is another matter.

Looks like he got hooked up with a real “princess”.

She seems like a typical woman.
I am glad he is divorcing her.

Smart eoman.
It probably was an arranged marriage with the groom having multiple wives.

If you have cut off your wife’s clitoris I suspect she may find pleasure in something else?

I don’t think the “cell phone walk and talk” covers this.

He didn’t beat her? Like every other mule in Islamdom?

She’s lucky he only divorced her instead of beating her up or doing an “honor killing.”

I am not familiar how Muslims and their marriages are/were impacted by the Garden of Eden.
My mandatory church lesson were a very long time ago and I do not recall the details.

That isnt independent Saudi woman. Thats straight up shrew. on their wedding day, she tells him her friends come first? Dump her like shes radioactive. Now wait a minute.
This is a SAUDI man (if such a creature exists)
It's probably not like she was in this marriage out of her own choice.
If I was in an arranged marriage with a man I didn't know and he wanted sex (and I'm sure muslim men's reputations in bed are widespread among muslims women), I'd consider my friends more important too.
IMO, he probably did her a favor.
