Theres an old saying in Tennessee - I know its in Texas, probably in Tennessee - that says, fool me once, shame on - shame on you. Fool me - you cant get fooled again.
Actually, it's my understanding that when GWB uttered those words, that he was anticipating that if he were to say "fool me, twice, shame on me" that the footage would be lifted, clipped and edited in thousands of anti-GWB political ads, whether that is true or not we'll never know, but I can believe it.

Perhaps. We all mix things up, from time to time. Everyone knew exactly what he meant to say at the time. There’s probably audio of the quote.
Anyway, ‘shame on us’ for allowing further erosion of the constitution with not one, but three non- NBC candidates.
