For 2004 ABC challenges CBS in the reality television program market, searching for a last man standing amongst contestants vying to become known as the ultimate survivor. Participants will be taking part in a familiar venue, a copycat program known as "Survivor:DHARMA", the first episode beginning with an air-drop onto the beach, which the film crew off the record refers to as just "lost".
