I'm grateful to God for Ted Cruz. I thought his candidacy was a great opportunity. I hope he learned a lot from this election and that he is an even better and more committed conservative warrior in the Senate. I hope God gives us him or someone else like him next time.
IMHO Cruz's two biggest mistakes were:
- When Trump rightly said he'd temporarily ban Muslims following a terrorist attack Cruz weakly responded: "that's not my policy"
- Cruz should never have apologized to Carson for the aggressive campaigning for votes during the Iowa Caucuses. Carson's actions clearly showed he was an insincere candidate.

I think that he is being a typical politician and trying to milk his anti-trump campaign as long as he can. So the news media can type out articles like “Shunning” and “Against Unity”.
At the end of the day, he will come around like everyone else will around Trump as the republican candidate and IMHO, everything right now is posturing.

“I’m grateful to God for Ted Cruz.”
That doesn’t answer my question about which comes first, the cultist mentality or the cult leader’s manipulations, but interest in the subject begins to pall. Good riddance to false prophets.
