After 15 years of war since 9/11 (WWII lasted about 3 years and 9 months for the U.S.), there should be a large pool of combat veterans who could run for office. They would be much better than what’s in government today.
If Perry had stood by his claim that he would secure Texas borders despite the Feds, he might have played a bigger role in this cycle. That said, I still like a lot about him and it’s good to see him doing the right thing here.
It exists on both sides. The one who started it bears some of the fault.
It is simple-don’t vote for anyone who broke his pledge. A man is only as good as his word. These are not men. They are liars and scum.
I agree, but nobody is looking for 70 year old pilots that have not flown as pilot in command for 45 years and it does not negate the fact he is looking for a job. We could do worse but what he could be effective at in a Trump administration is questionable.
I like Rick Perry. He’s a little soft on the border but a major states rights supporter. And he’s good for business.
...Rick Perry is... honoring his promise to the voters that he would support the eventual nominee of the party... outlets like Red State and National Review are attacking the governor for standing by his word. They're outlets, in the same sense that that outlet between one's butt cheeks is an outlet.
