Nuke it. Seriously, if there was ever a time in the 21st century to use a nuclear device, preferably a neutron device, now is the time to do it.
At the least, it will show this generation the dangers of nuclear war while destroying a force who is against humanity.
I think it is win-win.

After 911 I'd have televised live the use of a small tactical nuke on the country responsible for 911. Concurrent with that, I'd have looked into the cameras and said: "Who's next?"
That would have been the end of all this ME crap.
