News of the presidents forthcoming directive requiring educators to let students use bathrooms according to their gender identity not their birth certificate offered a welcome set of guidelines to some school administrators Thursday night about how they ought to proceed amidst the ongoing legal and cultural bathroom battle embroiling the nation.
As Obamas time in the White House ticks away, the president wants his administration to leave a legacy of social reform, especially when it comes to issues like same-sex marriage, immigration, healthcare, clean air and climate change. Because Congress is under Republican control, Obama has mostly had to blaze this trail on his own. While doing so, however, the administration has in many ways left in its wake a mess of court and cultural battles that will likely wind up in the lap of the next president.

Well, I was in Alaska back in ‘78, ‘79 and ‘80 when the Alaska state legislature came real close after Jimmy Carter put a large portion of the state under federal control, putting one helluva lot of people out of work. To call it a raging controversy is probably an understatement.
....Or leaving it to the next President to get rid of it.
And he has the pedal to the medal....
As I recall, he was responding to a "reporter's" Gotcha! question. Rather than stepping in it with the usual response that the leftmedia repeats all day long to say "Look! another Republican who hates x, y, and z!", he sidestepped the question and didn't give the media their usual ammo. That doesn't mean he's "all in" on the transgender agenda.
Haven't FReepers been complaining for years that most conservatives or Republicans in the public eye do not know how to play these games with liberal "journalists"?
Trump felt it was a State issue.
But did he not say it was a good thing Brucie Jenner went pee pee in the womens bathroom in one of his(Trump) buildings?
Lots of schools already have policies that say “no one will be discriminated against”. This just gives them permission to add a new class.
The Texas government can shred it all it wants. They’re going to have to become a lot more proactive if they really want to have an effect.
Blazing a trail is not supposed to be the same thing as carpet bombing. Somebody explain that to Barry.
Why should we leave America? We love America! Let the America-hating Liberal/Progressive/Socialist/Communist scum get the fu*k out! We should vote for Trump and we need an Article V Convention (I think 7 States have officially applied for one).

Trump said he could use whichever one he wanted.
Know why? none of us building owners want the GOVT suing us.
OSHA sent out regulations a year ago. A YEAR AGO.
We are up against it. Don’t believe me. Look here:
None of us building owners want to build more bathrooms. That is where some think this discussion is going.
In commercial buildings, we don’t have hall monitors checking to see who is going where.
It is bad enough we had to spend so much money adapting to the ADA.
If we can go in whatever bathroom we “feel” then it’s time for the gentleman to “feel” like escorting their loved ones into the bathroom and guarantee nothing happens to them.

Yes. I think you are correct.
Tyranny is now “Blazing a trail”.
He’s imposing these type of rules on minors? I hope the kids insist on using a private bathroom instead of ‘sharing’, and the line goes down the hall. When the kids are late for class consistently because they had to wait so long for the single bathroom, perhaps they will realize that the single bathroom should be for those who need the exception.
Perfect!
“Its a good illustration how far bureaucrats have gone in making their own rules and imposing it upon the people in spite of Congress.”
Meaning in essence, these “dictates” should simply be ignored by the various states.
The states that are responding to this nonsense are walking into a trap and costing the taxpayers unnecessary expense.
WAKE UP AMERICA.
