On the right, weve grown to pride ourselves on our greater openness to debate and ideas, on having no need to toe a Politically Correct line or crawl into a safe space like pampered college kids who just cant handle hearing from anyone who disagrees with them.
For myself, I am so personally dedicated to this ideal that I even perform the great personal sacrifice of reading the comments field beneath my articles.
Yet somehow I wasnt surprised to see Donald Trump supporters, those swaggering tough guys, turn one of their favorite Internet forums into a safe space where they no longer need to encounter criticism or opposition. Earlier today, Free Republic proprietor Jim Robinson announced that the discussion board would no longer tolerate opposition to Trumps candidacy.

Remember, the graphic is hosted elsewhere (usually an imagehost such as IMGUR, etc.), not on the FR server, so there is no bandwidth cost to FR related to pictures and Gifs. Eventually the image host will retire it, but with the size of storage devices these days...
I apologize to you for misleading you. All along, I was being facetious, trying to get a rise, a response from the FReeper who posted the graphic; a FReeper I've not posted to in a couple of years, I think. He did respond.
Please forgive me for eliciting your most genuine response to my inane comment regarding the blaster firing away eternally and causing some damage to the machinery.

Trump supports right to life with a few well known exceptions, a completely middle of the road position. He supported late term abortion SEVENTEEN FREAKING YEARS AGO

I don't get this guy! Trump should be an Objectivist Hero. Ayn Rand embraced the individualist that achieved for his own sake unanswerable to others.
Yet, Tracinski is bunghurt about the all in support from FR.
About
The Tracinski Letter is a newsletter covering culture and politics from an individualist perspective based on Ayn Rand's philosophy of Objectivism.
I have been a writer, lecturer, and commentator for more than 20 years. I started out with a degree in philosophy from the University of Chicago and then worked for several years as a securities analyst for Morningstar. From 1996 to 2010, I was editor and publisher of The Intellectual Activist: An Objectivist Review, and in 2004 I started its online offshoot, TIA Dailywhich has now become The Tracinski Letter.
Along the way, I have worked at the Ayn Rand Institute, been a columnist for Creators Syndicate, had op-eds published in dozens of newspapers, from the Chicago Tribune to the San Francisco Chronicle, and been featured on many radio and television shows, from Rush Limbaugh to “The O’Reilly Factor.”
More recently, I've worked as an editor at RealClearPolitics and as a Senior Writer for The Federalist.
In The Tracinski Letter, I present my own ideas, not just on politics, but on every subject imaginable: economics, history, philosophy, the Objectivist movement, science, technology, art, literature, movies, and more. My subject matter, and my passion, is human civilization as such, in all of its fascinating details and with everything it requires for its survivalwhich includes, first and foremost, a free society with a free economy.

Objectivist my butt.

Yes, they do seem to get wrapped around the axle quite a bit.
My philosophy, in essence, is the concept of man as a heroic being, with his own happiness as the moral purpose of his life, with productive achievement as his noblest activity, and reason as his only absolute. Ayn Rand, Atlas Shrugged
If that does not fit Donald Trump to a fare-thee-well...

Jim,
Hillary Communist witch will be coming after you and others if she wins. She will drag you into her ‘fun’ camp and feed you a polonium-210 cocktail.
Communists are blood thirty murders surrounded by big fat lies.
Brave man you are Jim.
