On the right, we’ve grown to pride ourselves on our greater openness to debate and ideas, on having no need to toe a Politically Correct line or crawl into a “safe space” like pampered college kids who just can’t handle hearing from anyone who disagrees with them.
For myself, I am so personally dedicated to this ideal that I even perform the great personal sacrifice of reading the comments field beneath my articles.
Yet somehow I wasn’t surprised to see Donald Trump supporters, those swaggering tough guys, turn one of their favorite Internet forums into a safe space where they no longer need to encounter criticism or opposition. Earlier today, Free Republic proprietor Jim Robinson announced that the discussion board would no longer tolerate opposition to Trump’s candidacy.

The author does not seem to be interested in defeating Hillary. I’ve noticed that in a lot of anti-Trump people. They’re more concerned with keeping the elites in power, no matter which party they claim to belong to. Trump supporters on the right are the equivalent of Bernie supporters on the left. We’re sick of the corrupt establishment status quo.
I sincerely doubt that; or if true, I doubt that it happened only during this election cycle. Your proof?

The corruption, the stealing, wasn't even on the top 10 list of Clinton sins.
Hardly a week would go by with another rape victim coming forward, another suspicious "suicide", another decent man utterly destroyed for daring to disagree with the Clinton approach.
People focus on Monica Lewinsky, but that was like Al Capone getting nabbed for tax evasion. It wasn't anything special in the big scheme of things.
It is somehow fitting that the man who rose from the ashes as the Republican Speaker of the House has turned out to be a pedophile, preying on House pages.
It was a horrific period of American history. Awful.

It is one of the best episodes of the show IMO. Almost the entire episode was silent. The “Gentlemen” were insanely creepy.
Of course! I have to keep reminding myself that there are those out there who you think are on the side of saving the US, but really aren't.
