This statement and this man, like so many others that I thought better of prior to the last 6 months or so, have proven to be very disappointing.

I don't understand - AT ALL - what is so incredibly "scary" about Trump when we know:

1) Trump will beef up our national defense considerably, whereas Hillary will (at best) leave it as is;

2) Trump will restore sanity to our immigration policy, whereas Hillary will continue with the open borders crap and legalize (i.e. provide a "path to citizenship") for millions of illegals - maybe 10% of whom will vote Republican in the future;

3) Trump will start cutting back on the federal budget, with an eye toward balancing it ASAP, whereas Hillary thinks that money grows on trees and will continue increasing spending until we collapse;

4) Trump will eliminate regulations that slow down or stop fracking and coal mining, with an eye toward making this country energy independent for the first time in at least 50 years, whereas Hillary will shut down our domestic production as fast as she can;

5) Trump can actually say the words, "Islamic terrorism" and "worldwide jihad" consecutively, whereas Hillary is in as much denial as Obama;

6) Trump has stated that he's for the 2nd Amendment being protected, whereas we KNOW FOR A FACT that Hillary will do her level best to outlaw guns;

7) Trump has said that he will appoint Scalia-like judges to the Supreme Court and the rest of the federal bench, whereas we KNOW FOR A FACT that Hillary will appoint radicals who will destroy the Constitution.

***What is TRULY scary is that Mike Lee apparently can't tell the difference between Trump and Hillary.***

Your Top Four “Trump will” statements are all based on nothing but fantasy. They also ignore Congress completely. WE HOPE he will do all of those things, but we have nothing on which to base the expectation that he will do so. Recall that Paul Ryan was a huge hero around here in 2009. George W Bush was our white knight in 2000. Both quickly ran to the middle once in office. Trump, as a populist, is even easier to predict to do so. The only difference is that Ryan and W were beholden to the GOPe, while Trump is beholden to nobody, giving us yet another strained hope that we won’t get stabbed for our efforts THIS time.

Yes, and if there is one thing that can be learned from this election:

Beware of those who hide behind the moniker of “true conservative.” Maintain your regard for those who don’t just talk the talk (Limbo, national review, etc.) but have walked the walk:

Jeff Sessions!
NewT Gingrich!
Phyllis Schlafly!
Ben Carson
Sarah Palin
Jerry Falwell Jr.
etc.

Laura Ingraham has been truly excellent in clarifying the nonsense.

The faux “True Conservative” Nobles are merely globalist internationalist plants (wittingly and unwittingly; give some the benefit of the doubt that they are merely mistaken, like our friends the followers of Cruz) who support bad immigration, bad trade, and intractable foreign entanglements.
