Trump will meet with Speaker of the House Paul Ryan at 9am this morning. All the networks will be covering live remarks made by both men following the meeting.
The URL above links to the various video postings on this meeting thus far, (amazing how much coverage all ready), so Freepers will need to find their own source, (FOX, NBC, ABC, CNN, etc).
Please post a good live thread when it surfaces here, and also commentary. As always, it will be interesting how our take here on Free Republic will be.

That's all that matters. Stuff like abortion and bathrooms is fodder for the masses. No one in Washington really cares about that.
For sure, there will be more "unification" meetings. Think about the news cycle for the past two or three days. Does anyone even know what Hillary is doing? She's been essentially blacked out.
Exactly. Trump knows this. And the news media is clamoring for him to speak, he lays low, phones into a show or two in the morning while he’s probably still in his PJs, and send Eric on the Kelly Megyn show to carry the message.

As much rivalry as the boys admit to between themselves DJT is correct in putting sis in charge.
Trump should have walked out of the meeting, said he won’t cut Social Security, engage in foolish trade deals, and will go into WI to support Ryano’s intra-party opponent. In one fell swoop, he could have won the election. Holding Ryano’s hand and giving him “time to heal” won’t help.
It makes one think of Richard M. Nixon going to Fifth Avenue in 1960 to see Governor Rockefeller; there he capitulated on liberal plans in the platform to please Rockefeller. Rockefeller never seemed to be in Albany but in “the city”.

Varney said he was projecting Trump takes California in the fall. He is scheduled to have 30~50 events there in the next months. (Money raising for the RNC). He expects turn out to be YUGE !
