I don’t think it’s for Hillary, she just jumped on the “tax return” bandwagon as a talking point.

I think it’s the tag team of Romney-Cruz-Ryan, trying to damage Trumps delegate count so Cruz can jump back in at a contested convention.

It’s the only thing that makes sense.

That’s why RyanO is delaying his support for Trump, to wait and see how it all works out. What else does Romney need to keep trying to damage him for? Cruz exposed his intention when he jumped the gun the other day about “jumping back in”.

It the “Cruz conspiracy”.

I don’t disagree with your scenario, but my take is that the #neverTrumpers want one of their own to run on the Libertarian ticket. They think they can prevail in the House of Reps if they can keep Hillary from getting a majority of electoral college votes.

“I think it’s the tag team of Romney-Cruz-Ryan, trying to damage Trumps delegate count”

That would have made sense a month ago.

But right now there is nobody left to challenge Trump at the convention.

Trump will be selected nominee by unanimous consent. I doubt there will even be a vote.

If Cruz was planning to challenge him he would have stayed in. Even if he couldn’t win California, etc he could still pick up a lot of delegates.

Unlikely. Ryan/Romney/Hillary are all “Uniparty”. They’re all in it together to protect the Uniparty.
