Then they were not interrogations at all.
They were interviews.

Interrogations and interviewing are essentially the same thing, however, both have severe consequences if a govt. employee is caught lying during these “sit downs”. This is most likely why she left the room with her lawyers. Apparently she came back after a few minutes. The FBI knows where to go if she refuses to answer certain questions.

Martha Stewart ended up going to prison for a lie she told during an “interview” with the Feds when she was NOT under oath.
