White House National Security Adviser Susan E. Rice said Wednesday there are too many white people in key government posts, creating the danger of groupthink that could put U.S. security at risk.
Speaking at Florida International Universitys commencement, Ms. Rice said a diversified government workforce is more likely to yield better outcomes than a predominantly white one.
Referring to criticism that the U.S. national security workforce is white, male, and Yale, Ms. Rice told the graduates, In the halls of power, in the faces of our national security leaders, America is still not fully reflected.
By now, we should all know the dangers of groupthink, where folks who are alike often think alike, she said. By contrast, groups comprised of different people tend to question one anothers assumptions, draw on divergent perspectives and experiences, and yield better outcomes.

More imported islamonazis to run and subvert our national defense agencies! Another O legacy ! Yippee !!!!!!!
The post office?
Yeah, Africans hold more than 30% of federal jobs.
They’re too red is what they are.
bull$hit... African Americans have government jobs in much higher proportion than their population proportion
It’s too “white, male, and Yale”...
I’ll agree with the “Yale” part.
We seemed to have done well as a country for over 200 years without such diversity that Rice speaks of.
Yeah, let’s examine the accomplishments of African culture before European influence came along, Susan rice.
I agree. Quit pulling from Yale.
It’s not racist when WE do it.
She spoke at my daughter’s graduation. Took everything I had to sit thru her BS. Didn’t fully RUIN the grad, but came close.
“... America is still not fully reflected.
So in other words, we need to fill government security posts with more uneducated, illiterate, brown & black, “kill whitey” types.
Yeah, that’ll make us so much more safer. NOT!
Maybe she needs to change her name to Susan (Black!!) Rice, to rid herself of any remaining oppression.
Should have pulled the lefty stunt of turning your back to her.
Whenever you hear the words diversity, inclusion or multicultural, you can be reasonably certain that someone is urging preferential treatment based on skin color and/or national origin.
Don’t forget the Bergdahl deserter - she spouted the White House ‘group-think’ position that he ‘served with honor and distinction.’
Enough with the identity politics. How about some competent people without regard to their race, gender, or religion?
That's what I thought - freaking liberals.
I think I have identified the problem. We need more Hilldale, Patrick Henry, and Liberty grads.
Her walking style seems a little manly too.
