Trump finds allies on Europe's right

Donald Trump received more international criticism Tuesday, this time from London's newly elected mayor, Sadiq Khan.

The presumptive Republican presidential nominee had suggested Khan would be exempt from his proposed ban on Muslim foreigners entering the United States. But Khan, who is the first Muslim mayor of a major Western capital, wasn't impressed.

"Donald Trump's ignorant view of Islam could make both of our countries less safe -- it risks alienating mainstream Muslims around the world and plays into the hands of the extremists," Khan said.

Le Pen’s daughter is an idiot then. Strike while the iron is hot.

I’m hoping for a Domino effect after Trump wins.

The 18th century, muslims were the terror of the Barbary Coast, today we know it as Tripoli, Tunis, Morocco and Algiers. The muslims took hostages and did to them what the isis is doing today. The asked ransom for them and we paid them millions. We gave in until Pres. Thomas Jefferson had it with them and sent a squadron of frigates to the Mediterranean and Barbary Cost. He taught them a lesson they would never forget. They learned Americans do not give in to terrorism and bad behavior. It took about 4 years to teach the muslims that lesson. In 1965 Ted Kennedy passed a bill which allowed people from the ME easier passage to come here. After the first Iraq war Pres. Bush I allowed the Iraqis who held up their hands and surrendered to the Americans to come here, unvetted plus a stipend of $?000.00 per month until they became settled. Then Clinton began the war in Boznia which allowed more muslims into this country. Now we have the apologizer-in-chief wanting a few more thousands of his “brothers” into our country.
From whenever that fellow Mohammed wrote rules for the muslim society, they have followed his writings to the letter.
These people do not assimilate. This happened, I think, in
the 1920s, with people from Europe, so our government shut down all immigration FROM ALL COUNTRIES, until those people assimilated into our country and our language and became truly Americans. We should do it again.
Sorry for the epistle, but these are my memories and thoughts.

Enlightening. Thanks!

I certainly see no moral imperative we bring floods of people from uncivilized and violent cultures into our country.

To be fair, Trump has also (unfortunately) “moderated” his position on immigration as well, just as Marine LePen has.

I certainly see no moral imperative we bring floods of people from uncivilized and violent cultures into our country.

That very much includes Mexico and most Central American countries, which have murder rates like Somalia's and literacy rates like Iraq's.

I agree. We don’t need another flood of uncivilized, rude people here Look how they have trashed neighborhoods in Europe.

“another flood of uncivilized, rude people here”

Oh, if the only problem with them were rudeness!

Europe's Right is not America's Right. This is not good news.

At the same time, no way do I believe Trump is himself some sort of European racialist ideologue. But they sure do project themselves onto him.
