WASHINGTON Neoconservative pundit Bill Kristol says he is being flooded with unsolicited support from anonymous people encouraging him to keep trying to get an independent candidate to run against Donald Trump in the general election.
Weekly Standard editor Kristol is known as a Republican power broker, but since Trumps populist primary victory Kristol has been pushing a third party that he calls The Latter Day Republicans, speculating that Mitt Romney, Marco Rubio, Tom Cotton, or Tom Coburn could be part of an anti-Trump ticket.
Kristols effort has apparently struck a chord with random strangers that Bill Kristol says he interacts with in his travels. One of Kristols most recent encounters took place at a pizza place in Penn Station in New York City, according to his garrulous Twitter account:

Kristols third-party campaign doesnt seem to be going very well. Retired Marine Corps general James Mattis turned down Kristols offer to help him run as an independent. Kristol has also complained about Texas early registration deadline for third-party candidates, which Kristol has vowed to legally challenge.
The Republican National Committee (RNC) told Breitbart News weeks ago that Kristols third-party bid is not supported by the party, and is only helping to elect Hillary Clinton.

Anonymous People = Voices In His Head
anonymous people = little voices in Kristol’s head
“Anonymous people”? Is that like “imaginary friends”?
anonymous people = Democrats
IOW he can’t name one.
LOL....that’s the first thing I thought, too.
Or, maybe just Anonymous.
Mr Kristol, Glenn Beck is on the phone. Again.
Bill Kristol: “ And now folks, I would like you to meet my friend......Harvey “
The GOPe. So bold they have to remain anonymous.
THERE’S your problem right there.
Best to ignore both.
anonymous = made up people
anonymous people = Dead folks from Chicago and Philly ?
Can you paste a big “TOOL” sign on his forehead?
I can claim lots anonymous people support me, too.
Funny thing is, those anonymous people sound an awful lot like Hillary supporters.
There isn´t another more perfect example of access and power via Beltway royalty than this do-nothing. He hasn´t contributed anything to American culture except his screeds and pearl-clutching gossip on cable news shows. If he had anything to offer by way of fresh ideas or action, he would run for office himself and not just sit back and anoint us with his wisdom.
That must be her “get in my belly!” look.
