I’m not privy to any special information. I have no DOD clearance and my only insight comes from a love of history and the study of human nature (philosophy).
I’m talking about looking around and realizing that all we need to see is what started WW1. A stupid series of events and treaties that flipped like stupid dominoes killing millions of men and changing history for the next centurty. In 1000 years I think that we will be recorded as one continuous war started in WW1.
The mideast anarchy and fake countries, including Israel, the spread of communism because of a german general Ludendorff trying to spread anarchy in Russia so he let Lenin go by train to russia and the rest is history. The first world war is still being fought. It pits the forces of the state versus those of the individual.
Our children’s children’s children might be around for the new stability. But it will never end. Please let your kids know that war is the normal state of man and those that “hope and pray” for peace, well... that’s all they’ll do. Because man is essentially self centered and capable of the most heinous crap. Our kids haven’t learned a single history lesson about what real war is and when they confront it, they’ll cr#p their pants.
Not one history class in this country’s public schools and most private schools goes over anything but the most casual fashion the Rape on Nanking, the German Blitz into Russia and the subsequent revenge berserk warfare the Russians did to the Germans. The murders, the wholesale rapes and killing of women,infants, children and all forms of life.
We weep for 10-20 civilian casualties and can’t even fathom what the MILLION!!! of Russian civilian casualties were in WW2. Not to mention the German, Japanese, Chinese and Europeans. MILLIONS. One man’s death is a tragedy, a million deaths is a statistic, eh?
or that there were battles where 10’s of thousands of men died/wounded in a single day. DIED..not wounded.
That entire cities are destroyed to rubble and no rock band or peace loving faculty member will be able to tsk tsk about the carnage.
I just look up at the sky after reading sometimes and think of what a beautiful and great country we have. How we assume that war will never touch us and how we are one month of concentrated terrorism from locking down everything and starting to really go totalitarian.

I’m pretty sure with my limited time span that I won’t see the denouement but my son and daughters will. I pray for them and our family.

Last night on Twitter, there were several Never Trump dolts who were extolling the praises of Ryan and were in disbelief that Nehlen would dare to run against the “conservative hero” Ryan.
