These polls do not shock me. National polls have shown a slow but steady drift towards Trump. Clinton's margin has been getting smaller and smaller.
I attribute this to Republican consolidation, for one thing. The "never" movement is getting a little marginalized at this point.
Also, I think as the race has definitely narrowed to a Trump/Clinton race, it's in Trump's favor. While I certainly agree that there are plenty of voters who don't like him, I think they can be persuaded. I think relatively few of them are going to just wake up one day and think, "I'm voting for Hillary!"
I’m getting e-mails from the “Cruz crew” suggesting that one vote for Hillary to “save the conservative movement”. They say that “Hillary is not Sauron”, and that “it’s only four years”.
Phooey!! What if Hillary puts in all sorts of radicals in the Supreme Court? What if she makes us take all sorts of muslims and other Third Worlders into the U.S., and the muslims cause a super-9/11? What if she gets us into a nuclear war with Russia over Ukraine or Syria?
I hope that all Republicans—as well as fed-up independents and Democrats—all wake up soon, and get on the Trump Train before it’s too late!!!!
