May I ask which beach you live near / at? My husband and I love the SC coastal areas. We've checked out homes in the Charleston, Mount Pleasant, Beaufort, Hilton Bead Beach (actually Bluffton) areas. We don't know much about Myrtle Beach (yet).

Still stuck in Connecticut... :-/

I live in Myrtle Beach I really like it. But like I said in the summer time it gets crazy with the tourist and driving can be dangerous. But there’s lots to do in regards to eating shopping and entertainment. Plus, the Beach itself great Churches around here. And lot’s of really really nice plaeces to live.

My ex brother in law lived near Sherman on Lake Candlewood. Moved to Mount Pleasant a few years ago. Loves it.
