You’re kidding, right? We don’t need or want any more “true conservatives,” because they are at the same time limp dick, liars who don’t begin to do what they’ve told the voters who elected them they were going to do! Ditto for the “principled conservatives,” who actually have few, if any “principles” of any kind except those that concern their wallets. Collectively, they have so besmerched these descriptors to such an extent as to make them pejoratives. We need a new word to describe honest, limited government people. If Bill Kristol is a conservative, count me out!
Paul Ryan is a decent guy. I have met him. Unfortunately, the moderator is afraid of a little free speech. This used to be one of my favorite websites and is still my go to. I used no foul language like some of the other writers, but the moderator doesn’t agree so he removes my comments.
Wow, is this going to be life and editing in the Trump world? Unbelieveable. II was surprised how many people only like Trump, now I know all other comments by non-Trump supporters are deleted by the moderator. Shame on you. I guess this site should no longer be called “Free Republic” any longer.
Ryan is a conservative. I say give him a chance. He is in a no-win situation with Obama as president. You take the small wins until you have the opportunity to get the larger wins. I trust him.
