In what ways are these people struggling to provide diapers to their babies? They've made choices they can't afford? They are buying cigarettes, booze, cell phones, flat screen TV's but not frickin' diapers? Give me a break.
My wife and I were not able to afford packaged diapers for our kids because it was out of our budget. So we bought cloth diapers and washed those suckers for years on end to keep the little ones in clean diapers. We never thought anything about it. Worked fine for us. We still have a dozen of this old raggity diapers that I use working on the tractor or greasy jobs. They absorb great! :-)

That’s racist. Minorities cannot be expected to be able to wash things.
