Okay, I didn’t enjoy being called an idiot. You really don’t know me well enough to do that.

I’m not a cop. I do shoot regularly at a pistol range and I’ve been a civilian volunteer for more than twenty years with our local PD. I’ve gone through a lot of training in that time. I still maintain that the 80 year old lady knew better than most what she was doing. In a small town like Sultan or the one I live in, there’s a very good chance that an officer could go through a whole career without ever having to shoot at someone. Until you do, you can’t say exactly how you are going to react. Training is one thing but when the SHTF it’s something else entirely, wouldn’t you agree?

It has been shown in studies, that most people with no training successfully hit their target under stress, due to them using the gun as they would pointing their finger at it.

Plus some people are natural born shooters. My Mom (90years old), has been shooting all her life. And has never had any instruction. Yet has never failed to get her game.
