I watched the interview.

What he actually said is that the higher income brackets may have to go up relative to HIS tax proposal in order to get approved in congress.

Would still be a cut from current rates.

Actually refreshing to have a candidate say upfront that he’d be flexible in order to get a plan passed upfront rather than try to BS the people only to have to backtrack once presented to congress.

"Refreshingly" saying it up front would have meant saying it before the primary, not after.
