No doubt he senses he needs her help, or at least for her to remain neutral. He doesn’t give a flip how the media treats her. He’s a media whore himself, always currying favor with the mediots.

McCain used Palin, cares not one whit for Palin, never did, never will. Rode her politically like a rented mule to save his hide and still was blown out of the water by those of us who despised him.
The Maverick is using her now. He sees the Revolution before his very eyes and the mood of his own state coming after him, so he makes the sharp turn to the RIGHT.

His guy Schmidt was tasked with the smear campaign against Palin after she got millions of people willing to vote for McCain.
She hs already stated she is staying out of that race.
Which is as good as endorsing the guy running against McCain.
