“I don’t want them to “publicly line up” if their heart isn’t in it. Better that those opposed to a nationalist agenda and direction for the country say so. Some of them will be re-elected, no problem. But this “hide the ball” crap is a fundamental problem.”
The problem is that as long as they publicly REFUSE to endorse Trump, the enemedia will pound their drums 24x7 about the fractured GOP, Trump has no chance with a divided party, and feature 24x7 the Lindsey Graham’s and Ben Sasses attacking Trump, as was the case on all the Sunday morning shows today.
A few of these “leaders” need to be targeted and taken out ASAP to put the fear of god into the rest.
Understood. What I'm saying is that we should embrace the fact that Sasse, Ryan, Romney, et al are public in their rejection or "wait and see" of Trump. In other words, the fracture is a good thing, as long as it is in the open. The people will choose individual candidates, and the press is going to attack Trump no matter what.
The party is divided. Why pretend it is not?

Yep. Ryan is an early election contest that puts that to the test.
Not that I have much concern about it, but I'd rather these #NeverTrump people be open about it, compared with being in places to sabotage the effort.
