George headed the war room for the Clintons. He owes his TV career to the Clintons. He donates time and money to the Clinton Foundation. Does anyone believe he is an objective journalist. He should not be allowed to get involved in this campaign. ABC must do it because George doesn't have the integrity to recuse himself. Of course I realize ABC will not do that because they support the Dems as well.

That’s a valid criticism, for sure. I recall him answering as you suggest one time, admitted he was a hypocrite, and followed up with the “have to do it to be competitive” argument you outline, and IIRC, he even added that it might be more expensive to run shoop in the US, but the benefits to people in this nation, on the whole, would be well worth it.
I would not assume that Rush will "find his way back," but who knows, the listening public has a pretty short memory.

True! And not easy to see when he brings up what many (including me) see as "Clinton was impeached" as a big gun. It really isn't, in the scheme of things, but the issue has been off limits and idle for so long, that when it is aired, it looms large.
