I’m sure those who define conservatism with some kind of check-list would scoff at your statement, but I think you hit on the heart of Trump’s appeal.

I miss the America I grew up in - before it was taken over by insane leftists looking for things to be offended at. I miss the America where people were civil to each other, and we didn’t have stupid leftists holding up “anti-hate” signs while threatening to beat up Trump supporters. I miss the America that built things and invented things and sent men to the moon. I miss the America where my Dad could work an everyday job and still be able to afford to buy a house and support a family and have vacations and a life.

I think Trump misses all those things too, and wants to try and put some of the pieces back together. And maybe we need a little bluster and bull-headedness in the office because what’s been done to our country is just evil and unforgivable.

Excellent post you have made, Pravious.

Many of us who knew a more courteous a peaceful time long for precisely what you have described. The endless ranting of perpetually-offended Liberals has grown tiresome to decent people. Just because we wish not to import THOUSANDS of unvetted Muslims...somehow we are deemed to be the "dangerous" people...to society.

That is a simple example, yet there are many more.
Now we have a country everyone is eager to criticize, they send their terrorists here, yet they are more than happy to accept welfare payments and other benefits.

Donald Trump remembers and appreciates that era. I am glad he seeks to restore that decency. If a few eggs need to get cracked while making the omelette, so be it. That is why the entrenched lifelong politicians in *both* parties are in a panic.
