Trump is implicitly the candidate of the white majority. He has not gone so far as openly campaigning on race like many black candidates and Latino’s do, but it is a powerful subtext of his campaign.
Many of the intellectual elite of the conservative movement are Jewish, and are very uncomfortable with this. White people rising to support themselves and assert their power as a group is viewed as inherently “fascist”. Look at how many times Trump has been called fascist by the press in this race.
The entire neo-conservative movement has come unglued over trump. Kristol, Max Boot, Elliot Abrams, Jonah Goldberg. All of the leading Jewish conservative talk radio hosts oppose him: Levin, Medved, Michael Savage is the exception that proves the rule.
There may be an ethnic component to the dislike of Trump we are seeing that is difficult to talk about, but it’s still there.
