A photo of 16 black West Point cadets raising their fists is causing controversy, with many offended viewers linking the image to supporting the Black Lives Matter movement.

Dang! Wasn’t there a big old ruckus raised about this a day or two ago?
I guess they did it again.
Mostly women it appears.
And they are all women.
Headline shoulda been “cadettes”.
They are either ignorant or can’t stand The Point and want to get kicked out
Then why do it? It seems to be daylight, so the possibility that they were all drunk seems slim ...
Good Lord. Kick those thugs out.
I’m not that concerned about young black men of quality* standing together, so long as they are not standing against the rest of us.
*I assume that the character of academy people is going to be of decent quality.
“...would violate West Points policies against participating in political acts or movements while in uniform”
What is it? What is the problem with people? The uniform
You go to West Point, get an expenses paid education by personal choice, agree to do what the army demands, by, not dictatorship, but by congressional approval just behave according to the age old time tested uniform code
Otherwise go to a different school
What is the problem?
Now I read that most are women? Well, the quality thing should still be in play.
Probably get an invite to the WH.
They should be expelled.
From the picture I can’t imagine any of them leading men into battle.
.
Getting drunk in uniform is not allowed
Or transgenders or they identify racially as black women and they’re in their safe space fighting against white privilege micro aggression’s in support of BLM.
The list is endless nowadays.
I remember when life was simple.
I know. Making political statements in uniform is also not allowed. People doing the latter (if that was their point) might also have been doing the former, but it seems improbable.
Mostly women
Ok
I can’t imagine a country where rules apply to only some people. But it used to be so.
If West Point doesn’t expell these people it will not be good
I wonder about the quality of the women. Did they not get forwarned about political statements? Did they not realize this would be a political statement? What were they thinking?
They are saying we can do anything even at West Point rules don’t apply to us.
Or we hate West Point. Let’s put tgem into a terrible position
West Point keeps them and how are they going to command troops.
