Missed her show tonight. She has a great show.
that’s so cute. you don’t even need a person around then.
my yorkie understands more words every day (we’re having to spell a lot) but doesn’t talk back much.
Someone who worked in the Bush administration said Donald is running against everything the Republicans and Tea Party people we voted into the office did and passed. To think he needs to make deals and even go half way with Ryan and the others is totally ridiculous. (Not his exact words but words to this effect)
He also said that with the amount of votes Trump is receiving is answer enough that he shouldn’t be expected to start agreeing to Obama’s agenda as they did.
Actually, my hope is to stay here and have a good life. I really love the people, and it offers great value for a retired person. That is why so many of us chose to live here. But, many more chose to be here because they met and married a Filipina. The family culture is not like what you normally find in America, these days.
I am just concerned that they may go back to being anti-Americans here, as happened in the 80's. Not everyone was part of that, as usual only a minority. But, just like the cultural changes in America, we see that a small group can have great impact.
Vote Trump!
I didn’t know your son hadn’t yet left for his duty station. How nice that he is able to move in with you together with his wife and daughter, and that their lives are getting settled with job/school/extra activities. Little ones learn so much from the wisdom of the grands, and also, from observing the interaction between the three generations. Very happy for you, honey!
I think it’s neat that your granddaughter will experience your garden with you, and watch how seeds are planted and grow, harvested and eaten. I suspect there is much you can teach her.
VP? I’m happy Rubio is OFF the list. His positions are liberal, his work ethic is pathetic, and he is reviled here in FL.
DJT possesses such an exceptional gift of being able to observe/analyze/assess people. I have an inner peace that whoever he chooses, it will be perfect. The person who seems to best fit the descriptors he has expressed when describing the attributes/talents/experience he seeks in a VP is Jeff Sessions. We shall see : )
Woman VP? My take is this: I don’t believe a person’s gender should in any way add to or take away from one’s value as a candidate. I’m happy to leave it to DJT and ultimately to God.
Your post just made my night. So much happiness with your garden, grands and DIL and son...and....Rubio is off the list.
Bless you!!
Tigger even knocks at the door.(she hits on the screen). I didn’t come right away and she yells at me The other dogs bark. She can and does but when she want something it’s a vocalization. It was raining She doesn’t like being out in the rain.
She knows several words: bed , cookie , play/toy , kiss
And has me very well trained
Do any of your stateside family get to visit you and Marlene much?
I went to Becker College in Worcester too. Graduated in 1971. Married a WPI guy same year. Living happily for 44 year’s.
Ah shucks.... I will share a secret. It’s been wonderful having them. Keeping fingers crossed but the adjustment period has been relatively easy so far. And having this time to form memories is a blessing I hope never to take for granted.
Well ladies, goodnight, sleep well.
I understand what you are saying. I very much hope they continue to like us and not change.
You see I’ve been writng to a Pen-Pal for over fifty years. England is moving to the left so rapidly and embracing Muslims through the last few years.
I am seeing her change in being politically correct and very much worried she will be taking up the mantle of Jews are the enemy.
London has elected a Muslim mayor but the other guy who ran against him is a very pronounced Jew hater. That was the choice of London. I am becoming after all these years, very guarded in my comments trying to feel her out first. This is the first time in 53 years I think our close friendship is at a cross roads and it really upsets me.
No, unfortunately. But, thanks to the internet, I have frequent video chats with them. I get to see the grands growing, but no hugs. It costs about $1600 round trip to DC from here.
I am buying lottery tickets, though! hehe! You can only win if you have a ticket!
Marlene loves them, and it costs me 20 PhPesos, or about $.40 per week! Cheap entertainment, since she can dream about what the millions of Pesos can buy! Me, I just write it off as entertainment expenses. It's cheaper than going to a movie (200P per person!)!
Vote Trump!
Pleasant dreams and sleep well, Navymom.
Amen!!
And, ((hugs))!!
Okay...tell Marlene that I’ll play the lotto over here. If I win...I’ll pitch in towards those tix to DC :)
“Someone who worked in the Bush administration said Donald is running against everything the Republicans and Tea Party people we voted into the office did and passed.”
Whoever said this is clueless. He/she has no idea what the Tea Party is all about. We were promised a lot but all we heard were excuses. We got the House and that was not enough. We got the Senate and that was not enough. Now we have a change for the Presidency and now they will not vote for Trump. They can go to hell.
That's the way it's been in the last elections. We have hopes that somebody will come along and turn the ship of state. It has been heading to a swirling pit for too long. But now, we see someone who is willing to step up to the plate and swing. He is hitting it out of the park, and the power brokers are scared s..tless. They are pulling out every trick to prevent his ascent, but "We, the people" are not going down so easy this time. It is a movement.
I love it when Donald tells the crowds "it's not about me, it's all about you". I think he believes that he is doing what is necessary to "Make America Great Again" He is our blue collar billionaire and we have grown to love him.
Vote Trump!
I didn’t write this correctly...He said the Republicans and the Tea Party we voted in to represent us and our conservative agenda was totally ignored by Ryan and the rest of the Republicans. So why should Trump who is running on everything they failed to do agree to anything Ryan proposes. Hopefully I’ve explained better.
Thank you, you did.
