Ryan suggested he's looking for something bigger from Trump. He referred to the GOP's "principles" 16 times: "I think conservatives want to know, does [Trump] share our values and our principles on limited government, the proper role of the executive, adherence to the Constitution," Ryan said.

Ryan's either clueless or willfully ignoring a glaring reality. Does Ryan think his "principles" that lead him to support amnesty, open borders and any trade agreement that comes along are conservative principles? Whatever his reason for holding those positions, he is 180 degrees at odds with Trump and a significant majority of Republican voters.

It's difficult to look at Ryan and determine just what "conservative principles" are. Maybe Ryan and others need to stop the posing and blathering and address those very fundamental disagreements that can be summed up as the globalist agenda which Ryan supports and Trump and his supporters strongly oppose.

“Ryan suggested he’s looking for something bigger from Trump. He referred to the GOP’s “principles” 16 times: “I think conservatives want to know, does [Trump] share our values and our principles on limited government, the proper role of the executive, adherence to the Constitution,” Ryan said.”

I challenge Ryan to name the action he took, or Boehner before him, that adheres to these principles. What bills did he pass that limited government? That started from a basis on the Constitution? None.

He’s all talk. Wearing the cloak of a conservative when it suits him, governing like a good statist when it doesn’t.
