Lindsey is a warmonger just like his pal McCain.
Yep, the warmongers are having the hardest time accepting Trump.
That is why McCain is dancing around Trump, he is running this year and IMHO he gets beaten in the Primaries. If Trump puts the spotlight on him it happens sooner. Which begs the question, is Linsey acting as McCain's altered ego and speaking for John...
[Lindsey is a warmonger...]
Graham couldn’t monger a war if tried, the closest he came to military was as a wimpy lawyer sitting at a desk one weekend a month while in the Reserves.
A policy of unilateral interventionism when deemed necessary to the legitimate interests of the AMERICAN people whether our enemies domestic or foreign like it or not is an appropriate policy. We act when WE decide to act. Other nations can come along for the ride but have to pay their own defense expenses. No foreign civilian or military "aid." No multilateral treaty stupidities by which an attack on any of more than 100 other nations is treated as though it were an attack on the Connecticut Gold Coast or on Fort Lauderdale. No more participating in the UN or funding it. Abrogate most of the existing treaties sapping American sovereignty.
When war is necessary, send in air power to soften or destroy or all targets chosen, invade in major force, kill large numbers of the enemy and break his tings, expropriate sufficient to pay the costs present and future of the conquest. Then GTFO. No nation building, no taxpayer social work, no hand-holding. Just a credible promise of repeating Rome's approach to war against Carthage. The Third Punic War left Carthage in permanent ruins in 146 BC. It was later colonized and rebuilt by the Romans as their administrative headquarters for African possessions. The Carthaginians were gone.
If the misbehavior that required a first American invasion continues or revives, rinse and repeat as necessary to terminate the enemy. We don't waste American troops policing the ruins. Kill, destroy, confiscate and get out.
At the same time, we ought not to seek unnecessary opportunities for war. War is not a default position and it is expensive and often expanded the size and scope of the state.
