That exact thing happened to my wife only there were 5 of them. One said, “She’s got a gun!”. She turned toward them and said you’re damned right I’ve got a gun!. It’s my Constitutional right! They lurked back in the shadows and never made another sound.

Happened to my wife as well. Two guyz sitting on a curb near the gas station. They approached my wife, one began moving toward the rear of the vehicle one to the front. If they'd not been fearful of the weapon, she'd have been in trouble.

There are all types of scenarios. No one scenario fits each and every case.

I carry concealed. I do however carry what I call semi-concealed. Instead of tucking a handgun in my waistband, I will holster a pistol and wear a button type shirt with a tee-shirt, leaving the button up shirt open and draped over my holster to semi-conceal it.

There is no need to freak people out. No need to walk into a Toyz-R-Us sporting a sidearm in plain view.

There is a time and a place.
