It’s becoming trendy. The old department store that burned down in 2008 is now a hotel and brewpub. The shuttered hotel across the street has reopened with a fine German restaurant on the first floor.

I may have to come up there some time. Haven’t had decent German food in a few years and don’t know of any places in the area. My favorite restaurant at Disney World in FL was in Epcot - a German place - great buffet and fun German band (though my nephew, who was young at the time, wore me out on the dance floor ;-)

There was a German restaurant we used to go to in Denver (not sure if it’s there any longer or not). Great food, great band. One of the family friends was a great polka dancer and we always had a fun time.

-- fine German restaurant --

I think that's an oxymoron
