She’s just as good in person, with an added dimension of speaking so eloquently and rapidly that listening to her is like trying to get a drink of water out of a fire hydrant.
I’ve seen her give talks at the 92nd Street Y here in NYC. Exhausting but brilliant. Back in the 90s, I invited her to my private club to speak to the members. She was very generous with her time (we couldn’t pay her) and had to endure speaking to idiot people. I have several letters and signed books from her. She’s nice.
