likely, but not a given. people may stay home, vote for other people still.
Oh its very MESSY. Donald is now the only one in the race. That is the worst place for Donald because he is about to meet his match. Yep, Donald vs. Donald. It’s going to be Yuge!!! Nobody can beat Donald like Donald.
Gee, just found your post on McConnell. Very good news. I’m going to check it out now. Thank you very much.
I can’t swear to its truthfulness!
LOL.
How do you win a race.
Step One - get a big lead.
Step Two - everyone else drops out so you’re the only one still running
Step Three - You win
I should be writing op-eds since I worked all this out by myself.
I don’t get it either! He is going to sweep every State with huge margins.
As I understand it. Ohio primary rules say that if candidate drops out 2nd place finisher gets the delegates. So that is +66
Meanwhile without the super delegates, how far ahead is Hillary, but if you listen to the press, she is so far ahead, yet Sanders still is whooping her all over the Country. It’s bizarro.
Are you still really asking that question?
A candidate who got more votes in the Republican primary than anyone else in history and you are asking how does he get to 270?
Remember, we are dealing with the Republican wing of the Uni-Party. Like the Democrat wing, they are capable of all manner of skulduggery.
Remember
1) Mississippi
2) NY 23
3) The treatment of Sarah Palin
4) Unanimous vote for NO witnesses in Slick’s impeachment.
5) TPA-TPP
6) 9/11 c0mmission
and any number of other travesties these bastards have perpetrated.
The Republican wing of the Uni-Party is the reason there is a “Tea Party” and also the reason there is a Donald Trump.
The elephant, ‘though dressed in red, white and blue, is NOT to be trusted!
RCP has Trump at 1,053 delegates right now.
I guess this is all just a formality now, but anyway, we have Nebraska & West Virginia next Tuesday. That's another 70 delegates, which would put Trump at 1,123 delegates.
Then, on Tuesday the 17th there's Oregon with 28 more delegates, which should put Trump at 1,151, and the Tuesday after that there's Washington with another 44, putting Trump at 1,195, a tantalizing 42 delegates short of the 1,237 required.
So, unless Trump is awarded some delegates from one of the suspended campaigns, it looks like he'll have to wait until June 7 to officially go "over the top". By the end of the day on June 7, however, Trump will have accumulated approx. another 300 delegates (303), which would put him at almost 1,500 delegates (1,498).
But procedurally, I guess, it's all a formality now.
Does this mean that Donald Trump is elected on the first and only ballot, or do they not even have a formal ballot?
Wow! Donald Trump really did this!
Vote Trump
The delegates must vote and a majority must approve the nominee.
That is the object of the exercise.
There are 464 left out there and predictions have him winning at close to 70% from her on out - if he won 70% of the remaining, he'd have about 1380 and there are only about 50 or so potential un-pledged delegates so anything over 1290 and there's nothing that can be used to stop him - short of the Hillary-approved system called "Vince Fostering".....
All eyes on Hillary....
“To do this, he will need to win by wide margins in West Virginia, Oregon and Washington.” Which Albert F&^King Einstein wrote this? How can he NOT “win by wide margins NOW in states he was going to win anyway? They are desperate for a “horse race.”
Apparently you're not familiar with the Electoral College.
