For about the last 8 years I’ve carried 50s instead of 20s because up until recently a 20 wouldn’t fill the tank.

20s worked for me for a while. Now it won’t quite buy me a fill up. But one of the local stations is 5 to 7 cents a gallon cheaper for cash than credit, so I usually just go in and give them a 20 and wait for the pump to shut itself off.
